Highlander Training Center in Sulphur Springs, Texas installation
Three Arrow Enterprises, LLC, is proud to be included as one of the contractors in the construction of the new barn at the Highlander Training Center in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Three Arrow’s Polylast installation will be done in two phases and include areas in the training barn, courtyard area, new covered walker, and round pen entrance.
Highlander Training Center is a racehorse training, rehab, and layover facility that boasts a staff that has trained over 300 stakes winners. Highlander’s new barn features 32 stalls, four horse wash rooms, a vet area, and several meeting rooms. The entire barn is WiFi equipped, with even the fans and lighting systems being controlled via the cloud.
Phase 1 of Three Arrow’s Polylast installation was all in the training barn. We installed three main barn aisles, the horse wash rooms, vet area, and aisle leading to the round pen and walker. We installed the flooring at 1/2 inch thickness, and the color was a 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 blend of black, blue, and grey.
Along with the custom color, we also inlaid the Highlander Training Center logo into the floor. To do this, we blew up the logo onto a 4’ by 8’ sheet of plywood, traced it, and cut it out with a drywall cut-out tool. We laid it on day two, then came back on the final day, popped the wood off, leaving the logo down, and laid the remaining floor around it, cold jointing the logo in.
Phase 1 was completed in three days, thanks to the help of the crews from TJM Enterprises, LLC, from Wyoming, and Arrow M Enterprises, LLC, from Colorado. Phase 2 will begin in April, and once again, the crews of TJM and Arrow M will be enlisted to help finish the installation.
